Thesis Project: "Exploring the Interaction of Performer & Audience through Space"

WOW! First posting, this is exciting! I will start with my thesis project from the Boston Architectural College: "Exploring the Interaction of Performer & Audience through Space"

Every day we interact with others and take on the role of "performer" (sender of messages) and "audience" (receiver of messages), and we easily swap back and forth between these roles. The more effectively we are able to take on both these roles, the more effective our interactions can be. Buildings need to be able to do this as well.
The objective is to create a building that can similarly send and receive dynamically, engaging the community as its audience and performer interchangeably, while allowing its users to also participate in the exchange. Thus creating an energetic environment that brings in (a sense of) culture and participation to the community.
